Safety

Grant Contracting is among the first contractors to enter Safety Partnership.

The Mason Contractors Association of St. Louis, The Occupational Safety Health Administration, and the Eastern Missouri Laborers Union entered into a Safety Partnership in 2003.

This is one of the first Partnerships in the nation formed with a Subcontractors Association and OSHA.  Individual Contractors must pass stringent criteria to be allowed in the Partnership. Among the criteria are: panel review of existing safety manuals, employee training documentation and procedures, and OSHA Log 300 reviews.

In addition, the contractor must agree to and abide by the Partnership criteria set up for day-to-day operations. Among these are more stringent scaffold safety requirements. Membership into the Partnership is valid for a one year duration and similar review would occur annually.
